SAD-BJP alliance will secure all 13 seats in Punjab: Ranjit Dhillon

Ludhiana: District SAD president Ranjit Dhillon, in a press statement issued on Sunday, affirmed his faith in Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and claimed he would once again become the PM, while in Punjab, the SAD-BJP alliance would secure all 13 seats. He condemned the Congress for making false promises in their election manifesto, and not having fulfilled a single promise made to the public. He said the voter was now completely disappointed with the Congress and its leaders.
Dhillon, while taking a dig at the Congress government, said the development works — which were taking place during the SAD-BJP government — had now come to a standstill during the Congress regime, and voters who trusted the Congress and voted for the party were now feeling cheated. Dhillon claimed Congress was responsible for the 1984 anti-Sikh riots, and now they have also called Hindus terrorists, which was highly condemnable.
He said: “In the MP elections, people will clearly give their message by bringing back the Modi government in the Centre, and the SAD-BJP coalition will win all the parliamentary seats in the state.” He also claimed that Congress MP and contestant Ravneet Bittu had failed to fulfil all the promises he had made to voters, as he had promised an advanced hospital and airport, but could not do anything. “Bittu tried to get votes in the name of his grandfather, but this time people will not sympathize with him. They will show him the door,” added Dhillon.
However, Congress district president Ashwani Sharma said: “People know everything, and the picture will become clear when Ravneet Bittu will again win the seat. Even in the Centre, the Congress will make a comeback. Congress had always fulfilled its promises made to the public, and here in Punjab, when they made a comeback, the SAD-BJP government had not left any money in the state exchequer, so it took time to stabilize things.”
