UP Chief Minister accuses TRS, Congress of supporting anti-nationals

A vote to TRS is a vote to MIM, and supporting Congress is showing support to terrorists, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said on Sunday.

Participating in an election meeting of Peddapalli parliament constituency here, he said the TRS during its five-year regime in the State had brought back the Nizam rule, turning people into slaves with its autocratic rule. Alleging that the TRS and Congress were supporting anti-nationals, he flayed the former for supporting MIM statements which were “against the interests of national integrity”.

Greeting the gathering in Telugu and conveying Ugadi wishes, Mr Adityanath criticised the Congress, saying it had “served biryani to terrorists” while the Narendra Modi government had treated them with bullets andallowed surgical strikes on terrorist camps.

Calling upon people to vote the Modi government to power again for maintaining national security, he urged the people to elect the BJP candidates from all parliamentary constituencies. Reservations were provided to socially backward communities in the country, he said and flayed the TRS government for encouraging religion-based reservations by extending 12% quota to Muslims.

He reminded the gathering that the Modi government had announced 10% reservation for economically poor sections belonging to upper castes.

The UP Chief Minister claimed that the BJP government had revived the sick FCI as Ramagundam Fertilizers and Chemicals Limited (RFCL) at a cost of ₹5,500 crore to provide employment to the people and solve the issue of fertilizer shortage.

BJP state president K. Laxman said Nizamabad farmers have raised their anger against the State government and added that the educated masses have given a fitting reply to the TRS in the recent MLC elections.

Responding to Nizamabad MP K. Kavitha’s statements about BJP being “Bharatiya Joota Party”, he called TRS as “Telangana Rakshasa Samithi”.
