JEE Main 2019 Paper 1 Analysis April 8: Students say Physics toughest; check expected cutoff, topic-wise weightage

The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducted the JEE Main April 2019 Paper 1 exam today, April 8. The students who appeared for the Paper 1 exam in slot 1 said that Physics was the toughest section in today's paper.
The questions in the Chemistry sections were mostly from the NCERT textbook. The difficulty level of the Maths section was moderate, however, some students complained that the Maths questions were too lengthy. Check the complete analysis below.
The JEE Main Paper 1 exam is conducted for admission to BE or B.Tech courses across the country. The JEE Main Paper 1 exams started today and will continue till April 12. The exam will be held in two slots - Morning and Evening.

The overall level of the JEE Main Paper, 2019 examination for April session was "moderate", and the exam pattern was similar to that of JEE Main January session.

Chemistry: Easy, Questions directly from NCERT
Mathematics: Moderate but lengthy questions

There is an increase in the number of questions from Biomolecules, Polymers, and Chemistry in everyday life topics.

JEE Main Expected Cut off 2019
JEE Main 2019 cut off is expected to fall between 78-83, since, the exam level is not much different than the previous session. We haven't noticed any significant changes in Slot 1 as compared to January session. Aspirants going to appear for next slots must focus on time management while solving the Maths questions.
