Lok Sabha elections 2019: NDA to get 279 seats, Times Now-VMR survey predicts

The BJP-led National Democratic Front is likely to edge its way across the majority mark with 279 seats in a closer fight this time, an opinion poll by Times Now-VMR aired just ahead of the first phase of polling has predicted. The survey predicted the Congress-led United Progressive alliance to finish a distant second with 149 seats - 89 more than last time - while the others, which include both UPA-friendly and neutral parties, might notch up 115 seats.
