Tie-up with Shima may boost Voltas

Leading air conditioning and engineering brand Voltas, and Japanese textile machines manufacturer Shima Seiki Mfg Ltd, have entered into an agreement for sales and marketing of Shima’s products in India. The pact will focus on leveraging Shima’s ability to provide leading-edge products and its long-standing expertise in computerised flat knitting machines - Wholegarment Machines and Total Fashion Systems, through Voltas’ network.
