When it comes to the top airlines in the U.S., Delta takes the cake.????Much better than the nuts you get on the plane, if you ask me.????The 29th annual Airline Quality Rating is thanks to researchers from Wichita State University and Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.????They compared stuff like on-time arrivals, bumping passengers, complaints, and mishandled baggage from 2018.????The report shows Delta was the only airline to get better in all four categories.????Here’s the rest of the 2019 list, with the 2018 ranking in parentheses.????JetBlue tails Delta.????Then Southwest rounds out the top three.????Last year’s winner, Alaska, came in 4th place.????Discount carrier Frontier came in dead last, behind American Airlines.????On the bright side, three of the four factors tracked improved for the airline industry in 2018.????Less people got bumped from flights, there were fewer mishandled bags, and overall customer complaints went down.????But on-time performance slipped.????Hopefully next year’s ranking lands airlines with better performance scores.
