Teen airlifted after arm gets caught in cattle feeder
A teenager has been airlifted to Brisbane after his arm was caught in machinery on a south-east Queensland farm.
Paramedics said the boy had suffered "traumatic arm injuries" from the accident, which occurred on a Kilcoy property on Saturday evening.
The teen had been out on the family property, using a cattle feeder, when his right arm was caught in the machine.
The RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter met the ambulance at a nearby town where the aeromedical team stabilised him for the flight and airlifted him to the Queensland Children's Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
His mother accompanied him for the flight.
