Eluru Lok Sabha Constituency 2019: Election in Eluru Lok Sabha constituency will be held on April 11 along with 24 other parliamentary constituencies in Andhra Pradesh. Contest in 2019 is going to be among BJP’s Chinnam Ramkotaya, Congress’ Jettl Gurunadha Rao, YSR Congress Party's Kotagiri Sridhar and TDP’s Maganti Venkateswara Rao.
Eluru Lok Sabha lies under the West Godavari administrative centre. TDP and Congress, both the parties are tough contenders in the forthcoming elections. The constituency also has 7 legislative assembly segments including Chintalapudi and Polavaram which have been reserved for candidates representing the marginalised sections of the society.
TDP's Maganti Venkateswara Rao (Babu) is the sitting MP here who received 623471 votes in 2014 election. He defeated Thota Chandra Sekhar (M) of the YSR Congress Party with a margin of more than a lakh votes. Rap has been once again nominated by the TDP for the upcoming elections.

Eluru Parliamentary constituency results in 2014, 2009 and 2004
2014: Maganti Venkateswara Rao (Babu) of the TDP who received 623471 votes thrashed Thota Chandra Sekhar (M) of the YSR Congress who only received 521545 votes.
2009: Rao, Dr Kavuri Samba Siva (M) of the Congress received 423777 votes who defeated Maganti Venkateswara Rao (Babu) of the TDP who received 380994 votes.
2004: Kavuru Samba Siva Rao (M) of the Congress received 499191 votes and defeated Bolla Bulli Ramaiah (M) of the TDP who only got 375900 votes.
The state will also see simultaneous assembly election 2019 on April 11. Lok Sabha election 2019 in Andhra Pradesh will be held across all 25 parliamentary seats in the first phase on April 11. The votes will be counted on May 23.
