Pune: Mayank Jasore took full advantage of pleasant weather and went hammer and tongs as he scored 50-ball century to set the tone for the match before TCS defeated FLAME University by 32 runs to win the FLAME University Corporate Cricket T20 League 2019 at the FLAME University Campus in Lavale on Saturday.

TCS’s opening pair of Mayank Jasore and Vikramjeet Singh grabbed the opportunity with both hands when FLAME put them to bat as the two opened their blades early on scoring almost at will to compile 147 runs for the first wicket in 13.5 overs. A solid batting performance by Mayank (110--57b, 9x4, 7x6) and Vikramjeet (64--43b, 2x4, 3x6) was enough for TCS to bank upon as they went on to post 210 for 5 in the allotted 20 overs.

FLAME University lost two early wickets and then were 53 for 4 before a partnership between Arvind Rajpurohit (69 not out--43b, 5x4, 4x6) and Suraj Dange (40--33b, 4x4, 1x6) steadied the ship were they remained way behind the target as TCS won by 32 runs.

The prizes were given away by Mahdi Farookh, Director Sports of FLAME University, Vahideh Razmi, Chair Student Affairs and Virender Sharma, Registrar of the FLAME University.
