Kids hit street against garbage dumping in East Bengaluru

BENGALURU: Several kids of Munnekolala area on Sunday took to the street and formed a human chain to protest against the garbage dumping.
Accompanied by their parents, the kids staged a protest against the BBMP for failing to stop the illegal garbage dumping near a railway track there.
Children carried placards that stated 'Garden city or Garbage city, Stop Litter, Do not give us a garbage-filled future," among many others.
A 12-year-old girl Tanvi told TOI, " There was no other planet to go and we need to save this planet getting polluted."
