Stating that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is following the footsteps of Adolph Hitler, MNS chief Raj Thackeray on Saturday said the need of the hour is to get rid of Modi and Amit Shah and it is acceptable if in the process Congress comes to power.

Thackeray said PM Modi is following the footsteps of Adolph Hitler. He feared that Modi and Shah would abolish elections and declare Emergency in the country.

Thackeray told his cadre to "accept money if these people come to you with money, and drive them out by kicking their ass". "Come what may, don't help BJP," he said.

Thackeray was addressing Gudi Padwa meet of the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena at Shivaji Park in Dadar. In his 74-minute speech, Thackeray questioned as to how can BJP bring so much money pumping in to elections?

Thackeray said last few days he was watching on TV and reading through newspapers that Raj Thackeray is being used by Congress and NCP. "My aim is to defeat the two calamities, Modi and Shah. In the process, if it benefits NCP or Congress, I am not bothered," said Thackeray.
