Dhillon seeks FIR against Bittu

Ludhiana: The former SAD MLA and district president SAD Ranjit Singh Dhillon went live on his FB page and took on Congress MP and Lok Sabha candidate Ravneet Bittu, who arrived from Delhi and organised a road show on Saturday.
Taking a dig at Bittu, Dhillon welcomed him to the city and asked what he had done for the city during his tenure in the last five years to showcase. “He has not fulfilled even a single promise made to voters and now when he meets people asking for their votes, they are going to question him on these issues,” he said. “The election Commission should add expenses of around 10000 boards in to the account of Congress leader Bittu and lodge an FIR against Bittu for misusing the government machinery. Also Bittu’s posters have been pasted on around 200 auto rickshaws without the permission of election office. These three wheelers should also be impounded as the same are being run without any permission,” he demanded.
Senior SAD leader, who is tipped to be amongst the probable candidates from Ludhiana, claimed the party has submitted complaints with the district administration against these posters earlier too, but no action was taken. “We will now approach chief electoral officer Punjab against these posters,” he said.
Challenging Bittu for an open debate on his achievements, Dhillon said Bittu should first respond to public’s questions and then proceed with the campaign.
