Coimbatore:
Around 7 am, while negotiating a curve on the ninth hairpin bend, the lorry developed a snag and came to a halt. As it blocked the narrow road, vehicles lined up on either side triggering a traffic snarl. Traffic was then stopped at Hasanur and Bannari check-posts to prevent further pile-up of vehicles. The lorry was then removed by engaging a crane. In a similar incident, traffic was disrupted for several hours on Bargur hill road as a lorry got stranded on the pathway.
