The car festival celebrated as part of the annual Sriramanavami festival of Ramaswamy Temple, Kumbakonam, will be held on April 14.
The festival began with flag hoisting on Saturday and the decorated deities of Sri Ramar with His Consort will be taken in a procession along the Mada streets in the morning and evening.
