Former Minister and YSRCP leader Botcha Satyanarayana, while describing the party’s manifesto as the best, has said it will provide direct benefit to lakhs of people in the State. Addressing the media here on Saturday, Mr. Satyanarayana said health and education were the major issues and the two were taken care of in the manifesto.
He hoped the manifesto would further boost the chances of party win in the elections. He thanked party chief Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy for preparing the manifesto by taking into consideration all sections of the society.
“Farmers are happy with the announcement of ₹50,000 investment support and ₹12, 500 financial aid at the beginning of the agriculture season. The women will get self-employment opportunities with the promised ₹75, 000 financial assistance. I have never seen such a well drafted manifesto in my 30 years of political career,” Mr. Satyanarayana said.
Taking a dig at Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, Mr. Satyanarayana alleged the TDP failed to implement its 2014 manifesto. “Mr. Naidu lost credibility and as such no one would take the fresh manifesto of TDP seriously.
