Amit Shah to launch BJP’s outreach programme from Gujarat today

The party chief in Gujarat, Vaghani also added that Union defence minister Nirmala Sitharaman would also be in Gujarat on Saturday.

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) chief Amit Shah will launch the party’s voters outreach programme at the national level on Saturday from his home pitch. Shah will be in Ahmedabad and will hold a roadshow in his constituency Gandhinagar covering two assembly seats Vejalpur and Sabarmati, whereas he will also hold a door-to-door campaign and night meeting with voters in Ahmedabad.

The party chief in Gujarat Jitu Vaghani on Friday shared information on Shah’s visit. He said, “April 6 is the foundation day of BJP and we have tradition in our party that we approach voters on the day going amidst them. Amitbhai will launch this outreach programme to be held nationwide from his home state Gujarat. He will go in the public and meet voters of Ahmedabad on Saturday through roadshow, door to door campaign and night meeting.”

The party chief will begin his programme with paying floral tribute to party’s founder members Syama Prasad Mukherjee and Din Dayal Upadhyay in the morning. The first roadshow will be in Vejalpur Assembly seat between 9:30 am to 12:30 pm whereas the second roadshow will be held from 5:30pm to 8:00pm covering Sabarmati.

“Amit Shah is the candidate of Gandhinagar and he has great contribution in the development of this area as the same is the home ground for him and he served as elected representative here. He is going to hold a massive outreach programme. He will also meet chairmen and secretaries of housing colonies in the night and will campaign for the party,” Vaghani added.

The party chief in Gujarat, Vaghani also added that Union defence minister Nirmala Sitharaman would also be in Gujarat on Saturday. She would hold the meeting with intellectuals in Ahmedabad in the morning and in Vadodara at evening time.
