Nigerian citizen held for drug paddling in Punjab

LUDHIANA: Police on Saturday arrested a Nigerian woman peddler after it recovered 450g of heroin from her possession on Ludhiana-Delhi National Highway in Khanna.
The accused was identified as 38-year-old Gillian Abang who works as a cook at Chattarpura in Delhi.
Khanna DSP Deepak Rai said that the woman was arrested while she was on her way towards Gobindgarh in a bus.
Police officer said on suspicion, the police party stopped her and recovered the contraband from her possession.
The accused was booked under sections 21/61/85 of NDPS Act at Sadar Khanna police station.
