Nine IFS officers allocated to TS

The Central government has allocated nine Indian Forest Service (IFS) probationers to Telangana on Friday. Telangana received the second highest number of IFS officers after Madhya Pradesh in the allocations from 2018 batch. The nine IFS probationers of Telangana are under training and will join duties from June next year, a release said.

The Telangana government had requested the Centre to allocate maximum number of IFS officers to the State considering the forest and environment protection steps. Getting nine IFS probationers is a big achievement for the State, the release said quoting Principal Chief Conservator of Forest P.K. Jha.
