The woman accused of murdering her four children at her Emalahleni home in December has been found fit to stand trial.
Zinhle Maditla, 24, appeared in the Witbank Magistrate's Court again on Thursday after her case was previously postponed to await a psychiatric report.
"I can confirm that the woman accused of killing her four children appeared in the Witbank Magistrate's Court today for a psychiatric report and the report indeed confirmed that the accused is fit enough to stand trial," National Prosecuting Authority spokesperson Monica Nyuswa said.
Nyuswa said the matter was postponed to May 9 for further investigation.
In January, Maditla handed herself over to police after the bodies of her four children were discovered inside her house in Klarinet.
Maditla later abandoned her bid for bail and opted to have her mental condition evaluated instead, News24 reported in January.
She remains in custody.
