JEE Main April 2019: Check these exam day advisories released by NTA

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released important advisories for the candidates who would appear for the JEE (Main) April 2019 examination.
In its advisory, the NTA wished students to do well in exams and asked them to download the admit card from the official website of the JEE Main exam. The candidates can check details such as exam date, shift, course and venue of Test Centre on the Admit Card issued by the NTA.
The NTA has ensured strict confidentiality, integrity and fairness in the examination. "No Candidate should adopt any unfair means, or indulge in any unfair examination practices as the examination centres are under surveillance of CCTV and equipped with Jammers," said NTA.
Here are some important points mentioned in the advisory note:
1) Candidates should download admit card from official website - www.jeemain.nic.in
2) Check admit card for: Reporting Time at Centre, Gate Closing time of Centre, Date of Examination, Shift and Timings of Test, and Venue of Test
3) Visit the exam centre a day before to familiarize yourself with the location
4) Reach test venue before the Reporting Time mentioned in the Admit Card
5) Carry these items: Admit Card, Passport Size Photo to be pasted on the Attendance sheet, Valid Photo Identity card, PwD certificate (if applicable)
6) Do not carry these items: Instrument/ Geometry/ Pencil box, Handbag, Purse, any kind of Paper/Stationery/ Textual material (printed or written material), Eatables and Water (loose or packed), Mobile Phone/ Ear Phone/ Microphone/ Pager, Calculator, DocuPen, Slide Rules, Log Tables, Camera, Tape Recorder, to wear/carry any type of watch including Electronic Watches with facilities of calculator, any metallic item or electronic gadgets/devices in the Examination Hall/Room
7) For Paper-II, the candidates can carry Geometry Box Set, Pencils, Erasers and Colour Pencils or Crayons
8) Diabetic students will be allowed to carry eatables like sugar tablets/fruits (like banana/apple/ orange) and transparent water bottle
9) Take Mock Test available at www.nta.ac.in to familiarize yourself to the exam pattern
