Bhopal: ‘Desh Ke Dil Se Dilli tak’ Congress theme song released

Chief Minister and Congress state president Kamal Nath released party theme songs for the upcoming Lok Sabha election campaign, here on Wednesday. The party theme song titled ‘Desh Ke Dil Se Dilli tak, Ab Hogi Congress’ was released on the occasion.  Talking to media persons later, Nath said that former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi was a visionary, he was the man who ushered India into the 21st century and now his son and Congress national president Rahul Gandhi has presented a vision through the manifesto for the second decade of the 21st century.

Rajiv Gandhi had given a direction to our nation, but people then used to make fun of his vision, but today the country is one of the prominent nation in IT and related sectors, said Nath.Taking on the NDA government, Nath said that in last five years common man, even industrialists were cheated and now the people will teach lesson to them for making false promises.  “Today the politics is done to divert people attention. Religion issues are raised so that no one can ask questions about the development and other rela ted issues,” said Nath.

People are now seeking the account of last five years, in the democratic system government is answerable to people and they should thus reply to all their queries, said the Congress state president. The democratic country like USA and other small democratic countries are accountable the people, but this practice in not followed in our country, he added.

They are not speaking about development, but raking issues related to religion and national security, said Nath. “Modi says country is in danger, but I am telling country is in danger because of Modi,” said Nath.  “Is the Army established by Prime Minister Narendra Modi? Is the navy or air force or National Defence Academy established by Modi or had he founded Saink School? No they were setup long back,” said the CM.

Flaying the Union government’s demonetisation decision, Nath said the money which the women had saved for the marriage of their daughters, the amount kept aside by businessmen for expansion had come to fore but what have we gained by the whole exercise, nothing. Refuting BJP’s claim that Congress was weak in Bhopal and Jabalpur, Nath said we will win both the seats because each and every ward of society were facing problems.
