City-bound traffic on the Barton Highway was on Thursday morning delayed following a car crash just before 8am.

The crash between two cars happened at the intersection of the highway and Clarrie Hermes Drive.

An Emergency Services Agency ACT spokesman said traffic on the highway was not blocked due to the crash but delays were expected.

The spokesman said no one was injured in the incident.
