WH refutes claims Mueller report more damaging than AG revealed

ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) White House spokeswoman Sarah Sanders says she has 'full confidence' in Attorney General William Barr's assessment of the Mueller report and refutes claims by investigators on his team that the report was more damaging than Barr revealed.

"Let's not forget that the people involved in this process, they've wasted two years of their life and they need to find a way to validate it," Sanders said on Thursday to reporters outside the White House.

According to the New York Times, several of the special counsel's investigators have told associates that Barr did not accurately portray their findings and how damaging the findings were for President Trump.
