Atassi has 20 years of experience scaling mission-driven enterprises and a background as an executive in the financial services industry. Prior to joining Nutricare, he was the CEO of the American Sustainable Business Council, the leading policy and advocacy group representing the interests of responsible businesses nationwide, where he championed a sustainable economy based on the principles of people, planet, and profit working together.

He also spent 15 years as General Manager, Vice President of the Foodservice Division and Vice President of Strategic Development at Numi Organic Tea, helping place the leading sustainable tea brand into thousands of establishments worldwide.
