“The BJP has come with a national agenda that includes overall development of Telangana State,” said party’s Lok Sabha candidate Chintha Sambamurthy on Wednesday.
“The party has provided able leadership and made the countrymen proud with its sound foreign policy and economic and welfare measures. People across the country desire to see Narendra Modi as Prime Minister for another term. We appeal to people of Telangana not to get carried away by grandiloquent talk of TRS chief KCR. He cannot play any role at the national level as is being claimed by him,” the BJP candidate said.
Mr. Sambamurthy said that his party was ready to put before people of Warangal what the Central Government did for the district.
“Besides awarding three prestigious projects — Smart City, Heritage City and Amrith, the Central government allocated ₹1,900 crore for a national highway from Bhongir to Warangal and another highway from Jagtial to Khammam via Warangal city,” he added.
“Free gas cylinders to women, LED lights in city, ₹137 crore for renovation of Kakatiya Medical College and MGM Hospital, funds for Individual Sanitary Latrines (ISLs) were given by the Central Government. Several measures were taken to help farmers across the country,” Mr. Sambamurthy said.
The BJP leader said that it was time for people to reject dynastic politics by Congress and TRS as these parties have their own agenda and did not care about people’s welfare.
Appealing people to vote for BJP, he said that Modi would deliver much more in the next term.
