CCC-accused lawyer asked to 'ring da boys'

A fraud-accused Brisbane solicitor has denied breaching bail by calling a barrister on his no-contact list who was being interviewed by the Crime and Corruption Commission.

Criminal lawyer Adam Raydon Magill has pleaded not guilty to the bail breach on Thursday, as he faces charges stemming from investigations into the $340,000 defrauding of Legal Aid Queensland.

In Brisbane Magistrates Court, Magill's lawyer, Roly O'Regan, during the alleged bail breach in November said he had received a message from Magill saying, "can I ring da boys?".
