Chronicle Reporter, Bhopal, Employees of SDM office, Berasia on Tuesday celebrated World Autism Awareness Day by wearing blue uniforms to office as per the instructions of Berasia SDM Revenue Ashish Sangwan. This was in keeping with the announcement of World Autism Awareness Day by The United Nations General Assembly on April 2 way back in 2008.
Sangwan had announced the celebration of World Autism Day in his office with the objective of improving the lives of children and adults suffering from the disorder.
He said that a large number of children and adults are suffering from autism in the country. On Autism Awareness Day, the entire SDM office staff was dressed in blue to office and delivered the message of autism awareness. On this occasion, a large number of block level official officials were also seen dressed in blue outfits.
