“The new price drop for the Realme 2 Pro is valid across all major offline stores in India”
Back in September 2018, when Realme launched the Realme 2 Pro (review), it was the most affordable phone with 8GB of RAM and Snapdragon 660 processor. Earlier this year, the price of the smartphone was slashed permanently by Rs 1,000 and more recently, the phone was available for a starting price of Rs 11,990 in Flipkart Mobile Bonanza sale.
Realme 2 Pro price in India slashed
While Flipkart’s Mobile Bonanza sale was a limited period event, the Brand has now announced that the discounted price will now be permanent. What this means is that the Realme 2 Pro will now be available for Rs 500 less across all variants. The base 4GB + 64GB variant will now retail for Rs 11,990 instead of Rs 12,490. The 6GB + 64GB model which was available for Rs 14,490 earlier, can now be picked for Rs 13,990. The top end 8GB + 128GB variant is now up for grabs for Rs 15,990 instead of Rs 16,490. The new pricing is already applicable across offline stores in the country.
Realme 2 Pro specifications
The Realme 2 Pro comes with a 6.3-inch full HD+ display with a waterdrop notch, which flaunts a screen-to-body ratio of 90.8 percent. The chipset ticking at the core is Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 AIE, aided by an Adreno 512 GPU. The phone is being offered in three configurations – 4GB + 64GB, 6GB + 64GB, and 8GB + 128GB. For security, you get a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and face unlock functionality.
Coming to the imaging department, the Realme 2 Pro has been equipped with a 16-megapixel Sony IMX398 sensor with 6P lens and an aperture of f/1.7, backed by a secondary depth sensor on the back. As for selfies and video calling, the smartphone a 16-megapixel camera up front with AI Beauty mode and an aperture of f/2.0. Lastly, a 3,500mAh battery rounds up the specifications list of the Realme 2 Pro.
