The sly manicurists of Manatee County, Florida, are back and finally in charge in an exhilarating first look at Season 3 of Claws.

The promo, which debuted Thursday, finds Desna (Niecy Nash) and the rest of the squad on top of their game after taking down Russian crime boss Zlata (Franka Potente) in the Season 2 finale. Desna may not have chosen a life a crime, but she'll be fully immersed in it this season now that she owns a casino and has more money than she knows what to do with. More importantly, Virginia (Karrueche Tran) -- who was shot in the episode's shocking final seconds -- is very much alive and well, and sporting a bedazzled eye patch for her troubles. We might not know who shot Virginia -- or why they were aiming for Desna -- but it's clear that she's fully recovered from the head wound and looking more glamorous than ever.

The bombastic dark comedy centers on the fierce nail techs of the Nail Artisans salon as they navigate a treacherous criminal underworld that constantly underestimates them. Season 2 found Desna going into business with a sketchy couple, sparking an onslaught of new problems.

See how it all goes down when Season 3 of Claws premieres Sunday, June 9 at 9/8c on TNT.
