A 32-year-old ‘drunk’ Nepali was arrested by Malkajgiri police for allegedly manhandling a head constable Narsing Rao and another constable Vishnuvardhan Reddy at Shiva Shakti Bar in Anandbagh.
Police said that Dheeraj, a resident of Anandbagh and a native of Nepal, tore the uniform of the on-duty officers who went to the bar after being informed about an issue on Dial 100.
“When our team reached the spot and tried to settle the issue, he picked up an argument with the police officers,” police said. Dheeraj pushed Rao on the staircase and he got injured.
