Addressing a public meeting during the “Haath Ke Saath Cycle Yatra” DPCC working president Devender Yadav said that the Congress manifesto has various schemes to address poverty, unemployment, farmers’ distress and traders’ woes due to the GST, problems of youth and women and myriad other issues which the common people are saddled with.
He added that if voted to power, the Congress would fulfil each and every promise made in the manifesto.
Mr. Yadav said that during the last five years, the Modi government did nothing other than spreading lies and helping his rich industrialist friends.
Slams Modi
“Mr. Modi sold big dreams to the people, telling them that ₹15 lakh would be deposited in the name of each bank account holder, 2 crore jobs would be generated every year and several other promises, but nothing was delivered,” Mr. Yadav said.
He added that the cycle rally was helping the Congress have door to door interaction with the people to expose the failures of both the Modi government at the Centre and the AAP government in Delhi.
The Delhi Congress also organised a chaupal at Janakpuri to discuss the Congress manifesto
