Bhopal District Open Invitation Badminton Competition 2019

Chronicle Reporter, Bhopal, While Akshay Panchal defeated Karan Yadav by 21-13, 21-14, Ojas Varshney defeated Yash Dave by 11-21, 12-19, 21-14, Drishti Rajeev defeated Tanishka by 21-14, 21-13 and Priyanka Pant defeated Muskan by 21-10, 21-15 and won titles at the Bhopal District Open Invitation Badminton Competition.

Non-seeded Akshay Panchal defeated second-seeded Karan Yadav by 21-13, 21-14 in the under-17 category in a competition being played at Udaan Sports Academy, Ayodhya bypass road under the aegis of MP Badminton Association by Bhopal District Badminton Association.

With his brilliant performance, Akshay defeated the seeded players. In the Under-15 category, second-seeded Ojas Varshney defeated seventh seed Yash Dave in a tough match, defeating him by 11-21, 12-19, 21-14 and won the title.

In the girls under-15 category title match, second seed Drishti Rajeev defeated fourth-seeded Tanishka Mihi Verma by 21-14, 21-13 after a brief struggle through her strong smashes and precise cross court drops. In the under-19 category, Priyanka Pant, the top seeded champion, won the honour of becoming a Bhopal champion by defeating the non-seeded Muskan by 21-10, 21-15.
