Water level in Periyar dam stood at 112.70 feet (permissible level is 142 ft) with an inflow of 7 cusecs and a discharge of 100 cusecs. In Vaigai dam, the level was 43.12 ft (71 ft) with nil inflow and a discharge of 60 cusecs. Combined Periyar credit was 1,707 mcft.
