The opposition party released a list of names late Tuesday night in which it mentioned four more candidates from the state, including Chavda.

With this, the has so far declared 18 candidates in Gujarat, where the last date of filing of nomination papers is April 4.

Polling in all 26 Lok Sabha seats in the state will be held on April 23 and the results will be declared on May 23.

Chavda, a two-time MLA from seat, said he will give a tough fight to Shah in the Lok Sabha polls.

Besides Chavda, the has also given ticket to Patidar Anamat Andolan Samiti convener Geeta Patel, a loyalist of Congress Hardik Patel, from Ahmedabad-East Lok Sabha seat.

The party has fielded its Limbdi MLA from Surendranagar seat to take on BJP's Mahendra Munjpara.

It has also given ticket to Murubhai Kandoriya from Jamnagar seat, from where earlier planned to contest, against BJP's Poonam Madam.

The on Tuesday refused to accord urgent hearing to Hardik Patel's plea seeking stay on his conviction in the 2015 rioting case.
