A group of young girls wreaked havoc in an afternoon rampage that saw at least nine people assaulted.
The rampage began when about seven girls got off the train at Perth's Cockburn Station, about 5pm on Monday.
The girls, aged from 12 to 15, moved as a pack, allegedly assaulting strangers as they made their way to Cockburn Central shopping precinct.

Stopping inside a McDonald's restaurant, they allegedly harassed customers before attempting to steal a till.
A staff member suffered a broken nose from the incident.
People ran and hid as the group continued to a medical centre, where more people were allegedly assaulted.
Chaos erupted inside the building, with staff trying to shield patients.

'They just rampaged in, pretty much, and the receptionist lady was obviously trying to move her out, and that's when the girls just started punching her in the face,' Caitlin Gahleitner told 9News.
Sergeant Dave Eaton said their behaviour was extremely aggressive as they were walking down the streets towards other people.
He described it as a 'pack mentality'.
Seven girls were arrested and taken to Cockburn Police Station.
