He recently reached a divorce settlement with his ex-wife Cassandra Thorburn, almost three years after they separated.
And so Karl Stefanovic was perhaps in a celebratory mood when he splashed out on his latest luxury car: a 2019 Mercedes-Benz station wagon.
On Tuesday, the former Today host was seen arriving at his home in Mosman, Sydney in his new vehicle, which is worth around $180,000.

The sighting comes after Karl finalised his divorce settlement with ex-wife Cassandra Thorburn late last month.
Almost three years after their separation in mid 2016, The Daily Telegraph reported that Cassandra had walked away with the former couple's $8million waterfront home in Cremorne.
It is understood that Karl, who married fashion designer Jasmine Yarbrough in Mexico on December 8, had never lived in the property.

Cassandra and her three children had reportedly moved into the Cremorne property in mid-2017 after the former marital home in Lindfield was sold for $3.8million.
It was previously claimed by the Herald Sun that Karl was paying his ex-wife $35,000 a month, however this figure has not been confirmed.
Karl still earns approximately $2million a year at Channel Nine, despite the fact he was sacked as host of the Today show last year.
