Who knew the Game of Thrones "Walk of Shame" scene could be this funny?
In a promo video for Kit Harington's upcoming turn as host for Saturday Night Live, the actor is unwittingly recruited by show star Leslie Jones (whose live-tweets of Game of Thrones have long been internet gold) to act out some of the HBO hit's most memorable scenes, whether he was in them or not.
After going it alone with some hilariously low-budget renditions of the "hold the door" scene and the moment when the Wall fell to Viserion the Ice Dragon, Jones drags Harington in to "bend the knee" before her as Daenerys on a makeshift throne and refuses to call him anything but Jon Snow.

After he declines to indulge her little fantasy and throws down the oven mitt costumery, she punishes him by dressing up as Septa Unella and making him wear a blonde pixie wig as a cardboard crowd hurls donuts at him to the tune of that familiar "Shame" chant.
If this is any indication of what's ahead when Harington makes his SNL hosting debut, we're all in for a treat this weekend indeed.
Kit Harington's SNL episode, which features musical guest Sara Bareilles, will air on Saturday evening at 11:30/10:30c. Game of Thrones Season 8 premieres on HBO on Sunday, April 14 at 9/8c.
