A changeroom 'up-skirter' who took photos of a woman in her 50s as she tried on clothes handed himself to police after his mother recognised him on CCTV footage.
Kyle Jamie Stawski, 27, slipped his phone underneath a cubicle and took images of the mother-of-five at a Rebel sportswear store in Maroochydore Homemaker Centre, on the Sunshine Coast, on January 7.
He ran away from the store after the woman noticed the phone on the floor and cried out in shock.
Queensland Police later released CCTV footage of the offender in a bid to get witnesses to come forward.
But on February 15, Stawski turned himself in after his mother recognised him from the footage.

On Wednesday he pleaded guilty to taking recordings in breach of privacy at Maroochydore Magistrates Court, the Sunshine Coast Daily reported.
Since the incident the woman, who was a tourist in the city, said she has not been able to enter a changeroom without a friend waiting outside, fearing the same thing will happen again.
She was also concerned for 16-year-old daughter, urging her to be more 'vigilant.
The woman was also afraid the images would somehow appear on Facebook.
Magistrate Matthew McLaughlin said Stawski's acts were 'strange' as his victim was old enough to be his mother.
Mr McLaughlin considered Stawski may have been struggling with an 'underlying problem'.

The court heard how Stawski was a casual tree lopper who still lived at home.
He was sentenced to a nine month probation with an extra condition that he must abide by any medical or psychiatric assessment ordered by the court.
A conviction was not recorded but the court ruled that it would be if Stawski reoffended while on probation.
