The procession started from Kasba Ganpati and ended at Narpatgiri Chowk via Phadke Chowk, Daruwala Bridge with BJP and alliance party members sporting the ‘Main Bhi Chowkidar’ caps. An arrangement of drinking water was made for all.

At Narpatgiri Chowk, all leaders addressed a rally. Bapat said, “Workers are the backbone of the BJP, a party that does not have a family dynasty. The BJP has done a lot of development work in the last five years. From the last 25 years, I am working for people. Now, I have got a chance for Lok Sabha. So, we have to reach each and every person to tell them about our development work. A lethargic approach will not be accepted.”

Kul expressed confidence of winning the Baramati seat, and said, “People are supporting BJP-Shiv Sena coalition. Party workers are working hard.”

Revenue Minister Chandrakant Patil appealed to party workers to ensure that BJP wins 10 seats in western Maharashtra including Pune and Baramati. “We have to win Pune city with a record margin in the country,” he said.
