BAREILLY: A 26-year-old youth was electrocuted while he came in contact with a live wire while washing utensils at a dairy shop. Later, the deceased’s family members rushed to the spot and alleged that their son was killed. The victim, identified as Babloo, son of Sayapal Singh, had started working the dairy shop only a few months ago, his family said.
According to police, when his coworkers saw Babloo being electrocuted, they immediately switched off the grinder machine and took him to a hospital where the doctors declared him as brought dead.
The dairy owner also rushed to the spot where he was confronted by the victim’s protesting family members. Police pacified the family and assured them of a fair and thorough probe. The body has been sent for postmortem.
Station house officer Dharmpal Singh said that they were probing the matter and an FIR under IPC’s section 304 (culpable homicide) had been registered.
