TENNIS: Durfee girls breeze past Coyle & Cassidy

Adriana Fernandes' 6-3, 6-3 win at first singles helped Durfee to a 5-0 shutout win over host Coyle and Cassidy in a girls' tennis match on Wednesday at the Lakeville Athletic Club.

Kali Lima (6-0, 6-0) and Amaya Travassos (6-2, 6-1) completed the singles sweep.

In doubles, the teams of Catarina Pereira/Allyson Holding (6-0, 6-0) and Kyndra Carneiro/Jessy Heneine (6-0, 6-0) completed the sweep.

The Hilltoppers are 1-1.

Sacred Heart 3, Westport 2: At the Diane B. Snyder Tennis Complex in Westport, the Wildcats (1-1, 0-1 league) earned their two points in this Mayflower Athletic Conference Comprehensive match at the first two singles.

Annie MacMaster won 6-4, 6-3 at No. 1 while Amber Valcourt won 6-3, 6-3 at No. 2.

Westport 4, Sacred Heart 1: At Kingston, the teams of Smit Patel/Tyler Holden (6-4, 6-1) and Jon Letendre/John Oliver (6-1, 6-4) help[ed give the Wildcats (2-0) this Mayflower Athletic Conference Comprehensive win.

Westport took second and third singles behind Alex Raposa (6-0, 6-2) and Roberto Ferreira (6-2, 7-5).
