A 40-year-old ITI teacher killed two of his daughters late on Tuesday night and sent a picture of the two girls hanging to his estranged wife on WhatsApp before committing suicide, in Maharashtra's Ballarpur.
As per the complaint lodged by the man's brother, Gopal C. Kudupalli, Rishikant was extremely upset about his wife's alleged affair with a local driver, reported the Hindustan Times.
Police official Sunil Kamble told media that the incident happened around 1 am at the teacher's house on Tuesday.
The complaint by his brother also alleged that the deceased man's wife had eloped with the driver a few days ago, leaving the man and the two daughters behind.
Their daughters were six-year-old Narayani and 18-month-old Kartiki.
It has been alleged by the man's brother that the incident could be an outcome of his wife's affair due to which he was upset and hanged both his daughters and sent photos of them to his wife before he committed suicide at his home in Ballarpur.
