Confidio - a pharmacy benefit advisory firm – today announced the addition of eight new employees, located throughout the United States.

The firm’s new hires include:

Adrienne Diestelkamp – As an Account Manager, Diestelkamp’s experience is focused on the employee benefits and insurance industries. Previously, she was an insurance broker in the small business market and has managed a variety of different employer groups. Adrienne’s experience working closely with HR teams and members alike has allowed her to foster strong relationships with her clients and supporting their HR team in relation to benefit offerings and compliance. She earned a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Business Marketing and Management from Spring Hill College and currently resides in Baltimore, Maryland.

Whitney Karimah – Karimah will serve as an Account Manager at Confidio. Prior to joining Confidio, Karimah worked for a small software-based wellness company as an account manager where she focused on creating wellness plans and programs for her clients. She also held a position with Cigna Behavioral Health as a care senior associate, which provided her in-depth experience with health insurance, benefits, and how claims are processed and paid. She also has experience in data and analytics, client management, and population health management. Karimah earned her Bachelors Degree from Howard University and lives in Baltimore.

Benjamin Politte – Politte joins the company as the Business Operations Manager. His diverse background in both B2B and pharmaceutical businesses uniquely qualifies him to help Confidio efficiently manage the firm’s growth. Politte has seven years of direct experience in the pharmaceutical industry, assisting with pharmaceutical trials and analytics. He also worked at Express Scripts as a Senior Business Analyst as well as an Account Manager. He has also held leadership roles, where he spend 10 years helping various organizations grow. He earned his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Missouri in Saint Louis and his Master of Business Administration and Master of International Business Degrees from Webster University. He currently resides in Saint Louis, MO.

KellieAnne Stritt – Stritt will serve as Confidio’s Executive Assistant. She has spent nearly 10 years supporting busy executives maximize their schedules as an assistant. Prior to joining Confidio, Stritt supported extensive marketing projects in the marine transportation and construction industries. She is also located in Baltimore.

Jo Lyn Philippi – As an Account Executive, Philippi will leverage her nearly 30 years of experience in the healthcare and pharmacy benefits industries. She has served in a number of different capacities including account management, benefits analysis, and auditing. Before joining to Confidio, Philippi worked for ConnectYourCare and Express Scripts, as well as national medical carriers, a TPA, a broker, and a medical claims auditing firm. She received her Bachelors Degree in Marketing and Speech from Ohio Northern University. She currently is located in Ohio.

Jody Hessen – Hessen is Confidio’s new Clinical Account Executive and has been in the PBM industry for over 25 years, serving in a number of capacities, including both clinical and broader consulting roles. She carefully evaluates client needs, conducts thorough gap assessments, and makes practical, customized recommendations for closing clinical, operational and compliance gaps. In addition, she creates actionable project plans and develops tools to support implementation and operations for her recommended measures. Hessen has been an independent consulting contractor, working for several PBM consulting firms including Visante, The Pharmacy Group, TPG Healthcare Consulting, and Blue Peak Advisors. Her clients included small and large health plans, PBMs, vendors for PBM services (such as medication therapy management), pharmaceutical manufacturers, and other entities. She received her Pharmacy Degree at the University of Minnesota College of Pharmacy and completed the Management Development Program in Health Care at the University of Southern California.

Jake Norman – He will serve as Confidio’s Regional Sales Director. As an experienced business development professional, Normam is laser focused on developing customized solutions for his clients and ensuring Confidio is well positioned to exceed client’s expectations. Prior to Confidio, Jake spent 15 years at Benefit Administrative Systems, a Third-Party Administrator, as a Director of Business Development. Before BAS Jake served in several roles within Express-Scripts, Inc, ending his time there as a Senior Benefits Analyst. Jake holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale. He is based in St. Louis, Missouri.

Tassanee Khouri – In her new role, Khouri will serve as Confidio’s Regional Sales Director. Throughout her career, Khouri has earned escalating leadership roles including responsibilities for client annual strategic planning, revenue growth, client service, and clinical program execution based on a comprehensive understanding of her client’s business needs. Prior to joining Confidio, she was on the Account Management team at MedImpact, serving large regional health plans, employer groups and hospital systems. Khouri received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics from Barnard College, Columbia University and earned her MBA as part of the first graduating class from the Rady School of Management, University of California San Diego. She resides in San Diego, CA.
