Decision on pact with JJP soon: AAP
TNN | Apr 3, 2019, 07:59 ISTGurgaon: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Tuesday said it hoped to resolve the deadlock on seat-sharing with the Dushyant Chautala-led Jannayak Janata Party (JJP) in the coming days.
“Given that the (Lok Sabha) elections are almost here, we are hopeful of the final word on the alliance within the next two to three days,” said AAP’s state chief Naveen Jaihind.
The list of candidates will be issued once the parties seal the pact on seat-sharing, he added. While the Congress did not want a three-way alliance in the state, talks between the other two parties have been going on for almost three months.
Meanwhile, challenging the BJP on promises made in the previous LS elections, AAP said it will give a reward of Rs 1 lakh to any of its leaders or ministers who can read out their 2014 manifesto in public.
“While the statements and promises made by other party leaders can be ignored, the announcements made by the Prime Minister and the chief minister have to fulfilled,” said Jaihind.
