- Crime Branch and Drug Department conduct raid
Chronicle Reporter, Bhopal, Banned medicines are being sold on many medical stores in the city and stores operators often sell medicines without doctor’s prescription. After the information received from the informant on Saturday, the drug department officials with crime branch team made a raid on medical stores as a preventive exercise.
The team found medical stores located at Berasia Road and Jehangirabad, selling medicines without the prescription of doctor. The investigation has been started after filing the case on both medical store operators.
According to information, IG Bhopal Range Jaideep Prasad and DIG Bhopal Irshad Wali have instructed to take action against medical stores who sell banned drugs. Accordingly, the police team, along with the officials of the Drug Department found Bansal Medical Store Jehangirabad and Sparsh Medical Store on Berasia Road selling banned medicines.
Inspector of Drug department Manisha Gurjar, K Agarwal and his team were involved in this action. Both medical stores were being selling Acetelopram Beth Clonapenzam and Acetelopram oxidant and Clonozepam intoxicated medicines without the prescription of the doctor. The team has registered the case against both the shopkeepers named Zeeshan Ahmed and Deepak Agrawal.
