'They're only looking out for themselves!' Kyle Sandilands unleashes on Channel Nine publicists as Ines Basic FINALLY breaks her silence during a live interview
Married At First Sight's Ines Basic was branded a 'recluse' after being pulled from all media interviews by Channel Nine's publicity department several weeks ago.
But on Tuesday, she made an unexpected comeback after gatecrashing her friend Martha Kalifatidis's live interview with The Kyle and Jackie O Show.
The legal secretary, 29, was keen to set the record straight, insisting that she was doing fine but had been blocked from 'doing interviews and stuff'.

Radio hosts Kyle Sandilands and Jackie 'O' Henderson were pleasantly surprised by Ines's cheerful demeanor on the phone.

They had been under the impression she was 'in hiding' due to the public backlash against her following her cheating scandal with Samuel Ball.
'Channel Nine kept saying, "Oh no, we can't do anything, Ines isn't doing any interviews with anyone",' Kyle said, before Jackie added: 'They were saying, "She's in hiding!"'
'Channel Nine make it sound like you're in hiding!' Kyle accused Channel Nine publicists of not having Ines's best interests at heart, adding that they are 'only looking out for themselves'
Kyle then remarked that it 'doesn't seem like there's any problems' with Ines at all.
He added: 'Channel Nine make it sound like you're in hiding and we can't get her to do anything, and here you are having a dart [cigarette] out on the balcony, relaxing!'
Ines stayed on the line for five minutes after Martha's interview and discussed a variety of topics, including her fling with Sam, her lesbian experiences and rumours she was approached to be the Bachelorette.

The impromptu interview began when Kyle convinced Martha to give Ines the phone mid-way through their discussion.
While Martha's interview with KIIS FM was approved by Channel Nine's notoriously strict publicity department, it's understood that Ines's was not.
Seizing the opportunity to speak to MAFS' most talked-about bride, Kyle asked: 'Why does [Ines] never do any interviews, is she in hiding or is she scared of something?'
'No, she's not scared of anything. I just don't think she's got the patience for interviews,' Martha replied, before putting her friend on the line.
Martha expressed some hesitation about handing the device over, saying: 'I feel like my publicist will be on the phone trying to butt in!'
Kyle then interrupted: 'Don't worry about your publicist! They're out for themselves and not for you guys, let me tell you!'

Married At First Sight publicists are known to be among the most strict and controlling in the media industry.
However, the majority of cast members still speak with 'blacklisted' news organisations on a regular basis without the publicists' knowledge.
