Kerala beats Tamil Nadu by 46 runs
Tamil Nadu women’s poor form continued after they lost to Kerala by 46 runs in the BCCI U-23 Elite Group ‘A’ one-day tournament in Surat on Monday. Opting to bat first, Kerala posted 149 with skipper Minnu Mani leading by example scoring 69 (129b, 7x4). TN captain SB Keerthana shone with the ball taking four for 23, while S Anusha, A Eloksi and KN Ramyashri shared six wickets between them. In reply, TN struggled to stitch together partnerships as it was bowled out for 103 as Kerala’s Darsana Mohanan finished with a haul of four for three.
