Poonia vs Rathore in Jaipur Rural, Kak's son-in-law from Ajmer

JAIPUR: The Congress declared its candidates for the remaining six Lok Sabha seats in the state post Monday midnight. MLA Krishna Poonia has been nominated from Jaipur Rural parliamentary constituency. She will face union minister Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore. The ruling party has fielded a new face from Ajmer Lok Sabha seat.



Rijju Jhunjhunuwala, the son-in-law of former cabinet minister Bina Kak, will be the Congress candidate from Ajmer and will face BJP's ex-MLA Bhagirath Chaudhary. Rijju is a businessman. From the Jhalawar-Baran seat, Congress' Pramod Sharma will contest against Dushyant Singh, the son of former chief minister Vasundhara Raje.


Rampal Sharma, a close aide of speaker C P Joshi, will be the Congress candidate from Bhilwara. The party's candidate from Rajsamand is Devkinandan Gurjar and from Ganganagar, which is reserved for SC, it is Bharatram Meghwal.
