Prominent director J Mahendran passes away at 79

Prominent film director J. Mahendran, 79, passed away on Tuesday. He was hospitalised for a long time. He became sick following a dialysis session and was hospitalised on March 27. Several prominent personality reached Mahendran’s residence to pay the director their last respects. Mega star Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan also paid Mahendran their last respects. The director is well-known for directing evergreen films like ‘Uthiri Pookal’ and ‘Mullum Malarum.’
