Man attacks phone firm, NSA invoked

Noida: The district administration of Gautam Budh Nagar has invoked National Security Act (NSA) against a man, Robin, who had allegedly fired at and threatened the manufacturing unit of a smartphone in Ecotech 7 on January 31. Robin, who has links with the Sundar Bhati gang, had apparently opened fire after he failed to get a civil contract in the company.
SSP Vaibhav Krishna said, “We investigated the matter and found five more persons were involved in the attack. They have links with the Sunder Bhati gang. They used to pressurise companies and factories to give them contracts for civil works.Now, we have invoked NSA against the mastermind, Robin, who was trying to get bail.”
